C’est peu de dire que le duo entre Aurélien Lehmann et Pierre-Yves Plat s’y connaît pour électriser le public. Le premier tel un fou furieux au clavier, le second claquettant avec frénésie sur les airs joués par le premier. Loin de s’enfermer dans une prouesse acrobatique qui serait de toute manière à saluer, le duo va plus loin et s’amuse à divertir un auditoire très vite acquis. Entre les divers talents de l’un et de l’autre, les adresses pour faire participer les spectateurs – nous vous rassurons : il n’est pas question de monter sur scène faire des claquettes, mais battre le rythme avec vos mains et chanter sont en revanche requis. Face à la technique du claquettiste, très acrobatique, on pense à l’extraordinaire Savion Glover. Et il semblerait que c’est lui qui ait inspiré Aurélien, selon les propos présentés sur son site.
Avec malice Pierre-Yves Plat rappelle que son complice a chorégraphié les numéros de claquettes de la récente production triomphale de La Cage aux folles. Ni une ni deux, Aurélien quitte ses chaussures immaculées pour des talons, histoire de montrer qu’il y est autant à l’aise. Ce dernier rappelle que, en marge des claquettes, il pratique également le rugby… Comme quoi rien n’est incompatible avec rien et c’est une bonne nouvelle ! /.../ Ces deux talents conjugués ont permis à la salle comble de la Scala de passer un fort bon moment. Gageons que ce « one shot » se transformera en une véritable programmation sur le long terme.
